This role is ideal for someone who wants to support Early Years students with special educational needs (SEN), providing them with the encouragement and tools they need to thrive.

About the Role:

Position: SEN EYFS Teaching Assistant
Location: Blackpool (FY4)
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Full-time, term-time

Key Responsibilities:

Support young learners in their Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), helping create an inclusive and positive learning environment.
Work closely with teachers to plan and deliver tailored activities for SEN pupils.
Use a nurturing approach to support pupils' social and emotional development, fostering independence and confidence.
Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and track student progress, celebrating their achievements and adjusting support as needed.

About You:

Experience working with Early Years and/or SEN pupils is highly desirable.
Patient, empathetic, and passionate about making learning accessible and enjoyable for all students.
Strong communication skills and an ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
