A well-established machining company is seeking a CNC Miller Setter / Operator to join their team.

This role is 4 days per week, 36 hours – Monday to Thursday

The Role

Set CNC mills to perform various tasks and operations (Bridgeport/Heidenheim control).

Setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math.

Produce first-off components at the beginning of production runs.

Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.

Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.

Control tolerances given on drawings.

The Candidate

Competent in setting CNC milling machines.

Ideally experienced with Bridgeport or Heidenhain controls. Other g code controls considered.

Able to read and understand 2D drawings and geometric tolerances.

Offering up to £28k plus bonus, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and overtime at x1.5
