Transport Planner Requirements:

Previous experience working in a planning role
Experience using a transport planning system
Well versed with excel
Good communication, interpersonal skills and conflict management skills.
Self-motivation and drive for results.
An ability to work with minimum supervision.
Ability to make timely and well-judged decisions under pressure and with conflicting requests
Flexible working will be required at times to support manufacturing operations

Transport Planner Duties:

Prepare transportation plans and routes to optimize and maximize profitability.
Manage and coordinate the activity of fleet managers, monitoring routes.
Prepare the drivers’ activity according to schedules and holidays and legal regulations.
Analysis and definition of budget volumes and transport forecasts.
Creation of reports and management of KPIs to optimize the load rate..
Initiate the development of new reporting tools to (Business Intelligence) to standardize results summaries for all group.
