Holt Engineering are working with an Engineering and Manufacturing company based in Weymouth. Looking for a General Labour Operative to work along side the Machinists. 

Salary: £12.50 Per Hour

Job Type: Permanent contract working full time Monday to Friday with Flexible work hours. 

Job Summary

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable General Labour Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with general labour tasks, assist with operating and maintaining machinery, and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

  Key Responsibilities for the General Labour Operative

Perform general cleaning and upkeep of the work area

Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a secure work environment

Identify and report machine malfunctions or maintenance needs

Support skilled workers with various tasks as needed

Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times

  To be a successful General Labour Operative

Previous experience in a general labour 
Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labour tasks

Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities

Health and safety awareness in an industrial or manufacturing setting
