Description

Overseeing the engineering department's shift operations
Ensuring all machinery and equipment are maintained to the highest standards
Implementing and adhering to health and safety regulations
Managing shift schedules and personnel assignments
Coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth operations
Driving continuous improvement initiatives
Addressing any technical issues swiftly and effectively
Maintaining thorough records of shift operations4 ON 4 OFF - 12 HOURS - DAYS ONLY

Profile

A successful Engineering Shift Manager should have:

A recognised Engineering qualification (Time Served/Level 3)
Proven experience in a managerial role within a food manufacturing environment
Good understanding of continuous improvement & lean manufacturing techniques
Strong technical knowledge of machinery and equipment
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively
