Design Engineer (SolidWorks Experience) ?

Are you a creative and detail-oriented Design Engineer with expertise in SolidWorks? We're looking for a talented individual to join our client based in Huddersfield and their engineering team to contribute to the development of innovative products and solutions. If you excel in designing complex systems and have a passion for precision, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Use SolidWorks to create detailed 3D models and technical drawings for new products and components.
Develop and modify designs based on project requirements, specifications, and feedback from stakeholders.
Perform engineering calculations and simulations to ensure design integrity and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and project management, to bring designs from concept to production.
Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Maintain accurate documentation of design processes, changes, and project progress.Requirements:

Proven experience as a Design Engineer, with a strong portfolio of projects utilising SolidWorks.
Proficiency in SolidWorks, including advanced modeling, assembly, and simulation capabilities.
Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Salary
