National Business Development Manager – Waste & Recycling Solutions
Location: Hybrid (Office & Home-Based) - Around Sheffield, Leeds & Halifax area - so easily commutable to office
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 base + £6k car allowance or Company Car + Uncapped Bonus
First year OTE: Up to £60,000+

Are you a results-driven sales professional looking for a dynamic role that balances office and home-based working? Our client, a leading name in waste and recycling management, is expanding and seeking a National Business Development Manager to generate new business, manage key accounts, and contribute to a greener future.
This role offers the best of both worlds – a mix of remote working, office collaboration, and client engagement. You’ll be focusing on waste solutions for the construction and demolition sectors, helping businesses manage their waste efficiently while supporting sustainability goals.
What You’ll Be Doing

Generating new business within the waste and recycling sector, with a focus on construction and demolition waste.
*
Developing and executing targeted sales plans to drive revenue growth.
*
Building and maintaining strong client relationships to ensure long-term retention and satisfaction.
*
Managing the full sales cycle, from initial contact to closing high-value contracts.
*
Identifying emerging market trends and opportunities for expansion.
*
Collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored waste management solutions.
What They're Looking For

Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within waste management, recycling, construction, or related industries.
*
A hunter mentality with a strong track record of winning new business and achieving/exceeding sales targets.
*
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
*
Ability to work independently while staying connected with the wider team.
*
Experience using CRM and sales analytics tools.
*
Full UK Driving License (occasional travel may be required).
