A great opportunity has arisen for a Shift Manager to join an established and successful leading food manufacturing organisation based in the North Yorkshire area.  This is a permanent position offering competitive salary, good benefits and a Monday to Saturday day pattern

The successful Shift Manager will be responsible for:

Responsible for managing the day-to-day shift production
Ensuring that health and safety expectations are met at all times
Ensuring the factory runs safely and effectively at all times
Ensuring maximum production output
Delivering the daily and weekly production plan
Lead, manage & drive the production team to achieve KPIs 

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience of working in a similar role within a FMCG environment preferably from the food  industry.   You should have knowledge of food safety systems and factory standards within a production environment . You should also have strong analytical and problem solving  skills. A knowledge of thermoforming machines would be beneficial but is not essential. The role will suit  a "hands on" self-starter with a "can do" attitude 

This role offers an attractive salary £43,000 and good benefits. Working a Monday to Saturday 4/6  shift pattern and the business is commutable from is commutable from Malton, Scazrborough,Driffield, York, Pickering and surrounding areas
