Based in Essex with hybrid working opportunities, this role is ideal for a seasoned ecologist looking to make a meaningful contribution while progressing their career.

Senior Ecologist Role:

Mentorship & Leadership: Guide and support junior ecologists, ensuring high-quality outcomes across projects.
Project Management: Oversee a wide range of projects, delivering timely, client-centered ecological solutions.
Advanced Fieldwork: Plan and execute surveys focusing on protected species and habitats.
Client Engagement: Foster strong client relationships, offering expert, bespoke advice.
Reporting & Compliance: Prepare detailed, compliant reports to support planning and development processes.

Senior Ecologist Requirements:

Qualifications: Degree in ecology or a related discipline, with CIEEM membership.
Experience: Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and conduct advanced ecological surveys.
Expertise: Strong knowledge of ecological legislation and survey methodologies.
Licensing: Possession of protected species licence(s).
