We Are Refyne are exclusively partnered with a luxury fragrance distributor based in the Midlands, who are seeking a Warehouse Operative to join their thriving and expanding business.
You will play a pivotal role in the efficient operation of a warehouse, ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, working as part of a team to meet daily targets, maintain stock accuracy, and uphold health and safety standards.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.
Key Responsibilities:
* Unload, inspect, and record incoming deliveries.
* Verify quantities and quality against delivery notes or purchase orders.
* Report and document any discrepancies or damages.
* Accurately pick items from stock based on customer orders.
* Pack and label orders securely for shipping.
* Coordinate with carriers and prepare dispatch documents.
* Perform daily checks and maintenance on equipment.
* Maintain a clean and organised working environment.
* Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including manual handling protocols.
* Work closely with other departments, including logistics and customer service, to meet business objectives.
Person Specification:
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory and order picking.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Familiarity with warehouse management systems or willingness to learn
