Multi-skilled Engineer, Falkirk, Salary from £38,000 up to £40,000 DOE, 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Health Cash Plan + Cycle to Work Scheme!

Multi-skilled Engineer with an electrical bias to join a leading solutions provider in the energy sector, working in the Falkirk area. The Multi-skilled Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of recycling machinery and equipment, working on a rotating 4 on, 4 off shift pattern (days only) with occasional callouts.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform preventative maintenance and respond to machinery breakdowns.

* Ensure equipment meets electrical safety standards (18th Edition).

* Maintain key plant equipment such as conveyors, generators, compressors, and pumps.

* Promote safe working practices and coordinate with contractors.

* Diagnose and repair faults, providing timely and cost-effective solutions.

* Support continuous improvement efforts using lean techniques.

Requirements:

* HNC or above in a relevant discipline.

* Minimum 5 years’ experience and a time-served apprenticeship.

* Full UK drivers’ licence.

* Expertise in electrical, control, or plant engineering.

* Familiarity with control systems, 18th Edition, and plant automation (PLCs, SCADA).

* Ability to diagnose faults and perform maintenance/repairs.

* Strong communication skills, team player with strong computer skills.

* Preferred experience with CMMS and PUWER regulations, with experience in lean manufacturing techniques.

* Desirable Skills in welding, metal cutting, and condition monitoring techniques.
