We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Assembly Manager to oversee the setup and operation of a state-of-the-art assembly line dedicated to pre-fabricating panelling and sanitaryware systems. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and smooth running of the assembly line, from initial setup to production, ensuring quality control, safety standards, and productivity targets are met. Key Responsibilities:
* Assembly Line Setup & Optimization: Lead the setup, layout, and configuration of the assembly line for panelling and sanitaryware systems, ensuring the most efficient workflow.
* Production Management: Oversee daily operations of the assembly line, ensuring production schedules are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
* Team Leadership: Manage and supervise a team of assembly workers, providing guidance, training, and motivation to ensure productivity and safety on the shop floor.
* Quality Control: Implement and maintain strict quality control processes to ensure that all fabricated panels and sanitaryware systems meet industry standards and client specifications.
* Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Work closely with the maintenance team to address any issues related to machinery or equipment, minimizing downtime.
* Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure that the assembly line adheres to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, fostering a safe working environment for all employees.
* Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives, driving productivity without compromising on quality.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Proven experience as an Assembly Manager or similar role, ideally in a manufacturing environment focused on prefabrication and assembly of panelling and sanitaryware systems.
* Strong understanding of assembly line processes, machinery, and automation.
* Experience in managing teams and coordinating multiple production schedules.
* Solid knowledge of quality control standards and health & safety regulations.
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
