Sales and Marketing Assistant

Location: Bourn, Cambs

Hours: Monday to Friday 5 days on site 37.5 hours

Salary: £26-30k

Start Date: ASAP

Our valued client, a reputable Health Services company, is currently seeking a dedicated and proactive Sales and Marketing Assistant to join their team in Cambourne, Cambridgeshire.

As a key member of the marketing department, the Sales and Marketing Assistant will play a pivotal role in supporting the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives that drive business growth and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

This is a varied, evolving role and will include the following responsibilities:

Provide support and assistance to the Accounts Management team and field sales as required, including answering customer queries promptly and accurately.

Assist in approving and managing new trade account registrations and help maintain and update database.

Assist Marketing Director and help co-ordinate all aspects of marketing including updating website, social media campaigns, e-newsletters, press releases, exhibition organisation, updating and printing marketing materials, merchandise etc.

Support field sales and marketing with hotel bookings and appointments (where necessary).

Minute taking for internal sales and marketing meetings and as required.

Answer the phone, process orders and take payments.

Answer customer queries promptly and accurately.

Communicate with existing customers to keep them informed about current offers and company news to encourage sales.

Offer an exceptional level of customer relations and service.

Undertake any other tasks/duties as may be required within a busy office environment.

Assist in achieving company goals.

Skills & Experience

Adobe Indesign experience would be very beneficial

Sales and Marketing Experience

Good working knowledge of Windows

Excellent attention to detail

Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload and multi-task when necessary

Good communications skills and ability to communicate at all levels

Ability to develop and maintain good relationships with customers

Confident in their ability to perform well in the role

Committed and hard-working with a flexible approach

A friendly and enthusiastic team player keen to be a part of a growing organisation
