Plater/Fabricator

Due to continued expansion, we're recruiting an experienced Plater/Fabricator to join our well established client. 

Job Duties: 

Prepping, fabricating and fitting components in accordance with engineering drawings and weld procedure specifications.

Supplying welders with tacked-up components ready for welding.

Setup welding equipment and tack weld parts using TIG/MMA/MIG/MAG as required.

Produce goods of the highest standards of quality and accuracy to the required dimensions, within the timescales specified.

Work with various grades of material i.e. Stainless steel, Low Temp, Carbon steel and Duplex. 

Read, understand, and follow all Safety, Quality, and Standard Operating Procedures including Engineering/Fabrication Drawings.

Other reasonable tasks, at the request of management. 

Requirements: 

Experience with pipe/plate fit-ups and a variety of fabrication processes.

Experience following QA documents i.e. WPS’s, Weld Maps, Works Instructions, ITP’s.

Able to read, understand and follow Engineering/Fabrication Drawings. 

Time served Plater/Fabricator. 

The working hours are 06:55am – 15:25pm Monday to Thursday and 06:55am – 12:55pm on Fridays.

Salary: £18.50 - £19.60 per hour + overtime. 

This is a Full time, Permanent position
