Quality Engineer - permanent MORNING shift (Monday – Friday 6am-2pm).

Our client is a well established, growing and secure first tier automotive manufacturing company in Cannock.

Our client has been making steady progress in both building turnover and improving efficiencies and culture over the past couple of years. Having supported the business for a number of years we find them to be honest, supportive and flexible.

As the Quality Engineer you will support customers with quality related issues whilst developing and maintaining relationships. You will be responsible for effective problem solving & driving improvements.

As the Quality Engineer you will have the following responsibilities:

* Lead problem solving activities (root cause & 8D etc)

* Point of contact for OEM customers

* Working with cross functional teams to assist with NPI (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, control plans, SOPs etc)

* Implementing quality procedures into production

* Driving Improvement activities

We are seeking a positive - & experienced automotive Quality Engineer who is a great team player. This is a great opportunity for someone to join a growing team on a full-time permanent mornings basis.

The successful Quality Engineer will be able to demonstrate experience of working within a comparable role within an automotive supplier.

The successful quality engineer can expect a starting salary of £35k + 12% shift allowance (£39,200) + Benefits.
