Elstree, Hertfordshire.
Multi-Skilled Engineer 
Salary: £38,000 DOE 
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8am until 5pm 

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established building services company with this site based in Hertfordshire. My client are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to be based in a critical environment located near Elstree. The candidate will be rewarded with a fantastic package including a £38,000 salary, clear progression path, overtime, pension, and career stability.

Job Purpose:

To undertake both planned and reactive building maintenance tasks.
To ensure buildings are operated and maintained in accordance with both relevant legislation and operating procedures.
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of plant rooms and adjacent engineering/operation spaces.
To undertake routine water monitoring tasks and weekly fire alarm tests, ensuring records are maintained.
Willing to assist with works outside normal skill set as/if required.
Working across multiple projects and minor works as requested
Carrying out daily PPM and Reactive Maintenance tasks
Carrying out daily emergency callout tasks
All Electrical work including lighting, wiring, testing, alarm systems, BMS and lighting systems.
Will be required to carry duties on toilets, drainage, tiling and sinks.
Engineers must be able to demonstrate appropriate knowledge of AHU, FCU, UPS, Generators, LV systems, which will include the ability to fault find.
HVAC plant
VAV - VRV
To communicate operational issues to the Supervisor when appropriate and proactively request support when required.
Assistance in the preparation of estimates/quotations as required.
Adherence to the Quality Management System applied to all M&E systems.
To always be organised and proactive, ensuring that workload is prioritised and completed.
To comply with Health, Safety and Wellbeing policies and procedures are always maintained.
Reviewing RAMS from subcontractors to ensure standards are maintained.
