SEN Teaching Assistant - South Norwood - Immediate Start - Full-time

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a new and rewarding opportunity? Empowering Learning is currently recruiting for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a reputable secondary school located in South Norwood, close to Crystal Palace station. This full-time position offers a competitive daily rate of £90 - £100 (depending on experience) and is available for an immediate start.

About the Role: SEN Teaching Assistant in South Norwood

In this role, you will be a key member of a dynamic team at a South Norwood-based secondary school. As a motivated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide both in-class and out-of-class support, offering 1:1 assistance to students with special educational needs. Your responsibilities will include creating a positive learning environment, delivering targeted support to individuals, and working closely with teachers to ensure all students receive the support they need. There may also be opportunities to lead small group sessions with students who have similar needs.

Ideal SEN Teaching Assistant:

Understanding of various SEN needs
Solid experience working with students with special educational needs
Immediate availability to start
Holds an enhanced DBS or willing to undergo the process
