Senior Quality Engineer / Principle Quality Engineer / Quality Manager / required to join a manufacturer in Fareham, Hampshire.

The successful Senior Quality Engineer must have experience of Aerospace standards / AS9100. You will also be leading a team of 3 Quality staff.

Package:

£50,000-£55,000 Depending on experience

Responsibilities:

Serve as a primary customer interface

Oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of effective Quality Management Systems

Analyse quality metrics across the organisation, conducting regular reviews, and recommend actionable improvement plans

Engage in product development and launch initiatives, contributing to quality assurance from concept to execution

Working to Aerospace standards / AS9100

Identify and resolve complex quality issues, ensuring corrective actions are effectively implemented and monitored

Lead and mentor a team of 3 

Liaise with various engineering departments

Site based in Fareham, Hampshire

Experience:

Proven experience as a Quality Engineer, Senior Quality Engineer, Quality Manager, Quality Supervisor or similar

Experience working to Aerospace standards / AS9100 standards

Strong proficiency in problem-solving methodologies such as Six Sigma, 8D, root cause analysis, and related statistical tools

Understanding of AS9100 standards with knowledge of part 145 requirements

Skilled in utilising process auditing techniques to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
