Role: Registered Care Home Manager – Luxury Dementia Care Home
Location: Dorchester
Salary: £70,000 + 10% Annual Bonus
 
We’re currently working in partnership with a leading and rapidly expanding care provider to recruit an experienced Registered Care Home Manager for a large, luxury residential dementia care home in Dorchester.

The Opportunity
Our client is looking for a proven leader with a strong background in residential dementia care. You’ll be responsible for the overall day-to-day running of the home, including the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care, team management, occupancy growth, and commercial performance.
You’ll be joining a supportive, forward-thinking business that places people at the heart of everything they do – both residents and staff.
 
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care
Recruit, mentor and develop a high-performing care and support team
Maintain full compliance with CQC regulations and internal quality standards
Work closely with customer relations and marketing teams to drive occupancy
Take full commercial control, managing budgets and controlling costs effectively
Collaborate with hospitality and maintenance teams to uphold high environmental standards
Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and external professionals 
Candidate Profile:
We’re seeking someone who brings a blend of strong leadership, commercial awareness and deep compassion for delivering exceptional dementia care.
The ideal candidate will have:

A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Registered Manager within a care home setting
A proven track record in residential dementia care
Strong CQC knowledge with a good understanding of safeguarding and compliance
Experience managing a large care team, with the ability to inspire and develop others
Financial management and occupancy development experience
A confident, resilient and motivational leadership style
