Job Title: Multi Skilled Construction Tutor 

Location: Must be flexible with travel to education sites across Hertfordshire, Essex and Suffolk

Salary: up to £34,000 (Depending on skills and experience) + Car Allowance

Package: Excellent Holiday Entitlement, Pension + more

Type: Full Time, Permanent 

Duties:
Teach/assess learners working towards vocational qualifications within Construction, within a classroom-based environment. 
Support learners working towards Functional Skills English and Maths up to Level 2.
Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners' skills knowledge and behaviours
Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.Criteria:
Experience of delivering vocational based training.
Must hold a recognised qualification within a Construction trade.
Must hold solid, occupational experience within Multi-Skilled Construction (e.g. Plastering, Paint, Brickwork).
Must hold own GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or above / Functional Skills equivalents.
Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
