The Procurement Lead will provide procurement support in leading on the Procurement of Construction related framework requested by the Head of Procurement and Contracts. You will have the opportunity to lead on supporting the development of three major frameworks to support the businesses construction Capital Investment Plan.

As a Construction Category Strategy Coordinator, your role involves supporting and overseeing the updates and development of the Construction Category Strategy. Your responsibilities include:
Framework Procurement Strategy:
Leading and drafting each framework procurement strategy.
Gaining a deep understanding of the current framework agreement.
Facilitating internal stakeholder workshops to capture lessons learned.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Building stakeholder maps to identify key internal stakeholders.
Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment.
Selection Process Coordination:
Coordinating the drafting of the Selection Questionnaire.
Managing the evaluation process for the Selection Questionnaire.
Tender Preparation:
Coordinating the drafting of the Invitation to Tender (ITT) and associated documents for the framework/s.
Your role is critical in ensuring efficient procurement, value for money, and social value delivery within the construction category.
Key Skills, Qualifications & Knowledge required:
Regulatory Procurement experience and understand how UCR and Public Procurement Regs work.
Strong commercial acumen
Prior procurement experience within the Construction category.
MCIPS OR RICS qualified would be an advantage.
