This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful management and delivery of complex defence projects, with a particular focus on systems engineering and requirements management.

Key Responsibilities:

Acting as the lead interface between the Submarine Delivery Agency (SDA) Engineering System Owners and the Shipbuilder to manage the acceptance of Product Non-conformance.
Reviewing and assessing submitted Concessions against recognised Defence Standards and Technical Documents, alongside Subject Matter Experts, to formulate and submit a formal response.
Representing the SDA at the Concessions Management Working Group for the weekly sentencing of Submarine Build Concessions, ensuring the process is diligent and outcomes are in the customer's best interest.
Utilising a cross-area awareness of all Concession Processes and supporting other process reviews for continuous improvement.
Identifying requirements or development needs of In-Service Concession Management toolsets for new submarine classes, working with Industry Partners and In-Service teams to ensure a seamless transition.
Reviewing Design Changes and liaising with Engineering System Owners and the Alliance Configuration and Change Manager accordingly.

Job Requirements:

Your skills and experiences:
Essential:

Engineering/STEM degree or equivalent qualification.
Experience in systems engineering or requirements management.
Ability to write and review Engineering process documentation.
Desirable:

Submarine experience through Design or In-Service.
Proactive approach to continual improvement.
Experience in Concession Management.
