We have an exciting opportunity for a Cost Engineer at a key nuclear project located in West Berkshire on a fully remote basis.

Role Details:

Role: Cost Engineer
Contract Length: 15 months
Location: West Berkshire
Headcount: 1
IR35 Status: In scope of IR35
Pay Rate:
£49.73 per hour Umbrella
Fully Remote

Key Requirements:

Security Clearance: Must hold active SC clearance
Experience: Must have prior experience in a Project Controls environment or a similar Cost role on major construction projects.
Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using Cost tools, Excel, and IT systems.
Key Skills: Must have experience with accruals, journals, forecasting, cost & schedule analysis, and an ability to provide insights for reporting and performance measurement.

Responsibilities:

Support preparation, monitoring, and control of forecasts and budgets for specified projects.
Provide cost reports, variance analysis, and trend analysis to support project management.
Maintain strong standards in environment, safety, health, and quality while working within the team.
Ensure compliance with all processes, and assist in root cause analysis for cost and performance data.

Additional Information:

Working Arrangements: The successful contractor will be required to work in the office once/twice a month.
