Job Title: Cold Room Dispatch Operative
Location: Derby, DE24
Salary: £13.18 per hour (+ overtime & shift allowance)
Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday (Fixed Shifts)
Available Shifts:

Early Shift: 09:00 – 18:00

Mid Shift: 11:00 – 20:00

*

Late Shift: 14:00 – 23:00 (Includes £8 shift allowance per shift)

About the Role:

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cold Room Dispatch Operative to join our busy meat production team. The role involves working in a cold environment (chilled conditions), handling, packing, and dispatching meat products while ensuring quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

* Accurate picking and packing of meat products according to dispatch orders.

* Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.

* Maintaining accurate records of dispatched goods.

* Ensuring the cold room is kept organised and clean.

* Adhering to strict health and safety regulations.

* Heavy lifting of up to 20kg.

Requirements:

* Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 20kg) and stand for long periods.

* Attention to detail is a must.

* Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively within a team.

* Willingness to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods.

* Ability to work as part of a team.
