Kirkland Associates are working with a client who are leaders within their field to recruit a field-based Installations and Maintenance Engineer
Working autonomously driving a company van to customer sites to carry out installations, planned maintenance and ad-hoc servicing/repair work on our clients’ products within the north west of England
 
Field Engineer - Installations and Maintenance Key Responsibilities:

Installation - working either individually or as part of a small team - using technical drawings to understand the required layout, checking components, install equipment to a professional standard, carrying out checks to ensure that everything is in good working order prior to signing the project off.
Maintenance - carrying out planned preventative maintenance tasks including fitting spare parts and conducting periodic force tests on powered gates.
Servicing & Repairs - responding to customer reports of issues with faulty or damaged equipment, diagnose faults and carry out remedial work as required.  
Field Engineer - Installations/ Maintenance  - The Ideal Candidate:

Experience working in a similar Installations or Service Engineer role.
Talent for working with both mechanical and electrical components.
Electrical certification including, but not limited to, 17th/18th Edition.
City and Guilds level 3 in electrical installations (or equivalent)
Able to interpret technical drawings.
Previous experience within the gate and barrier industry
Organised, able to work autonomously & prioritise work.
Participating in call-out rotas and working overtime/weekends where required
