Role Details:
Start Date: Immediate
Commitment: Full-time, Long-term (until the end of the academic year)
Pay: Competitive, dependent on experienceKey Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support to students with SEND, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their individual learning goals.
Work closely with teachers and SEND coordinators to develop and implement strategies that address each student's unique needs.
Foster an inclusive and positive classroom environment, encouraging engagement and participation.
Monitor student progress and assist with assessments, providing feedback to teachers and parents as required.
Support with classroom activities and help with administrative tasks as needed.
Encourage social and emotional development, guiding students in positive behaviours and skills for success.Requirements:
Experience: Prior experience in a child-based role, preferably within an educational or SEND setting.
DBS: Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service.
SEND Experience: Demonstrated experience working with students with special educational needs is essential.
