The School
A pupil referral unit catering for student who are at risk of permeant exclusion. Age range from primary to KS4.
Role/Responsibilities
Supporting students with significant SEMH needs. You will be working in the primary or secondary setting, depending on your experience and skills. Much of the role will involve therapeutic intervention to support self-regulation. You will be working one-on-one or in small groups.
Essential Criteria
Strong communication and collaboration skills
High levels of patience and resilience
Sensitivity and compassion
Confident in managing challenging behaviour using a therapeutic approach
Experience working with students who have ACEs and SEMH needs
Desirable Criteria
Teaching Assistant qualification
