Location: Thetford, Norfolk, United Kingdom
Salary: £13.50 per hour
Hours: 11am-7pm, Monday to Friday
Our client is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Stores Person to support their in-house stores and logistics operations in Thetford. This role is vital to ensuring smooth inventory management and contributing to high-profile automotive projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, process, and safely store incoming deliveries.
Distribute deliveries to relevant departments, teams, or projects.
Accurately identify and document all inventory.
Monitor and log stock movements and maintain accurate records.
Manage consumables inventory and reorder as needed.
Operate ERP systems (IMS/SAP) to process parts efficiently.
Package and dispatch products, including manual handling of boxes and crates.
Collaborate with the quality team for incoming goods inspections and quarantines.
Assist with shipments, delivery notes, and resolving supply issues.
Support the accounts team by providing documentation for invoice queries. Requirements:
Experience: Previous warehouse or shipping experience is a plus.
IT Skills: Basic proficiency in Excel; experience with SAP is advantageous.
Skills: Detail-oriented, proactive, and organized.
