Cover Supervisors – General Cover (KS3 & KS4)
Location: Worksop
Salary: £94 - £115 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Full-Time / Part-Time

Are you looking to step into the world of education and develop your classroom management skills? If so, GSL Education needs an engaging and adaptable Cover Supervisors to provide general subject cover for Key Stages 3 and 4 in secondary schools across Worksop. Whether you have a subject specialism or are looking for broader experience, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic school environment.

As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will step into the classroom and deliver pre-prepared lessons across a variety of subjects. This role is perfect for graduates, aspiring teachers, or those with experience working with young people who are looking to gain valuable school-based experience.

Responsibilities:

Deliver pre-planned lessons and maintain classroom order.
Supervise students in the absence of the class teacher.
Encourage student engagement and participation in lessons.
Support students with their learning, ensuring a positive classroom environment.
Uphold school policies and behaviour expectations.
Adapt to different subjects and school environments as needed.
Requirements:

A degree in any subject or relevant experience working with young people.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
The ability to engage and motivate students.
A proactive and flexible approach to classroom management.
Experience in education or working with young people (desirable but not essential).
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
