We are seeking a motivated and friendly Receptionist to join our automotive company in Swindon. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a garage or automotive environment and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.This will be on a temporary basis.
Duties:
* Greet and assist customers in a professional manner.
* Answer incoming phone calls, directing them to the appropriate departments and taking messages as necessary.
* Schedule appointments for vehicle servicing and repairs, ensuring
* Order parts and supplies.
* efficient use of time and resources.
* Process invoices and payments.
* Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and welcoming for clients.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints, providing solutions or escalating issues as needed.
* Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
* Collaborate with the service team to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
* Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
Requirements:
* Training will be provided.
* Previous experience in a garage or automotive environment is essential.
* Strong communication skills.
* Proficiency in using telephone systems and office software (Microsoft Office).
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
* A friendly and professional demeanour.
* Basic knowledge of automotive terminology and services is preferred.
Hours and Pay:
* 08:00 AM – 17:00 PM
* Monday to Friday
* £13 Per Hour
