Job Title: Slinger

* Job Type: Contract (Two positions available: 2-week holiday cover and 6-month position)

* Salary: £20 per hour, paid via CIS/UTR

* Hours: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM (9.5 hours paid per day)

About the Role:

We are currently seeking skilled Slingers to join our team in Watford. We have two positions available: one for a short-term holiday cover lasting 2 weeks, and another for a longer-term contract of 6 months. This role is crucial in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

* Safely sling and signal the movement of loads to crane operators.

* Ensure all lifting operations are conducted in compliance with health and safety regulations.

* Conduct pre-use checks on lifting equipment and report any defects.

* Work closely with site teams to coordinate lifting activities.

* Maintain clear communication with crane operators and other site personnel.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

* Valid Blue CPCS Ticket for Slinger.

* Safety Critical Medical certification.

* Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.

* Strong understanding of health and safety protocols related to lifting operations.

* Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
