Ionic Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a freelance site manager in Leeds.

Our client is a specialist shop fitting and restaurant contractor with projects across the UK. They are seeking an experienced site manager to oversee fit-out projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard. Permanent opportunities may be available for the right candidate.

Role Overview

As a site manager, you will be responsible for managing on-site activities, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring health and safety compliance, and maintaining project efficiency. This role requires strong leadership and problem-solving skills to deliver high-quality shop fitting and restaurant projects.

Key Responsibilities

* Overseeing site operations for shop fitting and restaurant fit-outs

* Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring efficient project delivery

* Enforcing health and safety regulations and maintaining site standards

* Monitoring project progress, identifying challenges, and implementing solutions

* Liaising with senior management and clients to meet project expectations

Requirements

* Proven experience as a site manager in shop fitting or restaurant fit-outs

* Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organisational skills

* Ability to manage subcontractors and deliver projects on time

* Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications preferred

* Willingness to work nationwide if required

Salary & Benefits

* £250 - £300 per day (freelance)

* Nationwide roles available
