About the role:
We are looking for a dedicated Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive school in Barnet, London. This part-time role offers the chance to work closely with teachers and pupils, assisting with boosters, interventions, and SATs preparation. As a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students’ academic and personal development during this pivotal stage of their education. Working closely with teachers, you’ll deliver targeted booster sessions and interventions to help students excel in core subjects, particularly in preparation for SATs. You’ll also support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring they feel included and empowered to achieve their best.
Application Requirements:
• Experience working with Key Stage 2 pupils, especially in boosters, interventions, or SATs prep.
• A passion for education and supporting young learners.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Knowledge of supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is advantageous.
• A positive, proactive, and empathetic attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support pupils in small groups or on a one-to-one basis to help them reach their full potential.
• Assist with booster sessions and interventions, tailored to meet individual learning needs.
• Prepare students for SATs, helping them build confidence and master key skills.
• Collaborate with teachers to adapt resources and activities for SEN pupils.
• Monitor and report on progress, celebrating every achievement.
