SEN Teaching Assistant - South Liverpool

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in South Liverpool.

About the Role:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

Provide 1:1 and small group support to children with special educational needs.

Assist in developing and delivering individual education plans (IEPs).

Work closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to support each child's learning.

Support students with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, sensory impairments, and learning difficulties.

Help create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where all children can thrive.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

Previous experience working with children with SEN in a school or similar setting (essential).

A caring, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting individual needs.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Knowledge of safeguarding practices and procedures.

A relevant qualification in education, childcare, or SEN (desirable but not essential).
