Danny Sullivan Group are currently looking for a Project Manager with good civils/substation/cabling background for a role with a utilities contractor engaged on projects at Sizewell C.

Ideal candidate would have experience of delivering the civils elements of power/substation projects in the UK with a large utiltities contractor. Client are open to local or lodging candidates.
 
Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Management:Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Team Coordination:Lead and manage multidisciplinary project teams, including engineers, construction workers, and subcontractors. Ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members.
Quality Assurance:Oversee all construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and legal regulations. Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks.
Risk Management:Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.
Client and Stakeholder Communication:Maintain regular communication with clients, stakeholders, and senior management. Prepare and present project reports, proposals, and updates.
Resource Management:Ensure the timely delivery of materials and equipment to construction sites. Monitor project expenses and manage the project budget effectively.
Compliance:Ensure all projects adhere to legal requirements, building codes, and safety regulations.Experience/qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Project Manager in the civil engineering or construction industry.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, project management principles, and relevant legal regulations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
