Working hours: 7am till 5.30pm - Mon to Thurs or Tues to Sat

Commutable from Peterborough, Stamford, Uppingham, Corby and surrounding areas

Job description

Our client is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Welder/Fitter. 

The Role - Welder / Fitter:

fabricate / weld - MIG mild steel welding as well as fitting & installing on site
To fabricate medium gauge metal components up to 10mm
Working from engineering drawings
Working independently and as part of a team 
Minimum Skills / Experience Required -Welder / Fitter:

Have a good engineering background with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings      
Experience site welding and fitting
Ability to work with all types of metal up to 10mm
Must have good attention to detail
Be able to finish a product to a very high standard
Be punctual and a good timekeeper 
Be confident, organised and methodical
Be enthusiastic, self-motivated and able to motivate others
Work well as a team member
Be able to problem solve and come up with solutions
Own transport is essintial The Package - Welder/Fitter

Pay rate £18.41
Overtime available
Free onsite parking
Holiday Package

Required to work 3 weekends a year
