Associate Product Manager

Opportunity for hybrid working with minimum 3 days per week (mon-wed) office based
Purpose of the Job
* Assist the Product Manager in the development and execution of product strategies throughout the product life cycle.
* Support product development by ensuring new products deliver the features and performance our customers want.
* Support marketing by defining the key messaging and USPs for our customers.
* Provide support for product launches and updates including developing price lists, part codes, user guides and supporting the marketing team with messaging.
* Provide marketing research to shape our Product Management strategy.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Draft Product Requirement documents to prioritise product features and capabilities including key differentiators and USPs that align with our overall strategy.
* Help create product positioning, value propositions and sales arguments for target markets.
* Continually enhance product features and performance based on customer feedback.
* Work with marketing team to create the correct positioning and messaging for new product launches.
* Support the sales team with training, education and expert advice on our products.
* Provide product documentation for new and updated products including pricing, part-codes, comparison documents, and key USPs and messaging.
* Assist in the roll out of new products internally to the sales and marketing teams.
* Provide market research to understand market trends, dynamics and opportunities for product improvement and differentiation.
* Provide competitive analysis to shape our product development strategy, pricing, inform our sales and marketing teams and to provide valuable insights.
* Attend exhibitions and customer visits alongside management team to gather market intelligence.
Reporting to
This role is reporting to the Product Manager.
Working Hours: This is a Full-Time position working 08.30 – 17:00 Monday-Thursday, 8.30-2.30 Friday as standard.
