Site Manager – Residential Refurbishment

Location: Basildon
Contract: 6 Months

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager on behalf of a valued client to oversee the refurbishment and conversion and refurbishment of a residential building. This is a 6-month contract with the potential for further opportunities.

This role requires a hands-on Site Manager who isn’t afraid to get stuck in with the team to keep the programme moving. You’ll be responsible for ensuring work is completed to a high standard, on schedule, and in line with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily site operations, ensuring works are carried out efficiently and to spec.

Lead and coordinate subcontractors, trades, and suppliers to maintain productivity and quality.

Work closely with the team on site, providing support where needed to keep momentum.

*

Ensure compliance with H&S regulations, RAMS, and site protocols.

*

Monitor progress against programme, addressing any potential delays or issues.

*

Manage site logistics, materials, and deliveries to maintain a smooth workflow.

Requirements:

*

Strong background in residential refurb and conversion projects.

*

Experience managing subcontractors and direct labour.

*

SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid.

*

Strong leadership skills with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.

*

Ability to manage workloads effectively and keep the site running efficiently.
