Job Title: Operational Administrator
Reports to: Operational Delivery Lead & Production Manager
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week
Location: Orbital Office in ST15 0QN
Occasional visits to customer sites with overnight stays may be required.
Primary duties:
· Perform general administrative duties to support the Manufacturing and Operational Delivery team to help maintain smooth day-to-day running of Manufacturing and site activities.
· Compilation and control of workshop paperwork, build packs, OP11A’s, CompEx forms and equipment records.
· Compile minutes where necessary from Manufacturing meetings.
· OP/04 handover administration and co-ordination.
· Maintain OP11B administration in conjunction with planning.
· Ad-hoc Manufacturing ordering.
· Answering the telephone and directing queries appropriately.
· Booking hotels and travel arrangements as per requirements for site project activity where required.
· Maintain OP17 and STC training records.
· Ensuring timely submission of time sheets to internal and / or external payroll functions on behalf of employees and sub-contractors.
Secondary duties:
· Perform any other ad-hoc duties within skillset.
· Support with Products administration
· Act as Deputy Fire Officer.
Essential skills:
· Good verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to prioritise workload and set deadlines.
· Good working knowledge of the MS Suite of applications. (Such as Outlook, Excel and Word).
· Ability to work within given deadlines as part of a team or individually.
Desirable skills
· Previous Administration experience within an Engineering and Manufacturing environment
