THE ROLE:

Are you a seasoned professional in the Construction industry with a proven track record in Business Development or sales? We have an exciting opportunity for a Construction Business Development Manager to step into a Commercial Delivery Manager role, driving growth and enhancing the Council's Building Control services.

The Building Control sector is experiencing unprecedented changes, presenting a unique chance to make a significant impact within the Council. Your mission is clear: become the building control partner of choice for all building projects in the borough.

This newly-created position offers a dynamic mix of strategic and operational responsibilities. Key elements of the role include:

Proactive Customer Engagement: Connect with Builders, Contractors, Building Owners, and their representatives, marketing and selling the Building Control service.
Industry Trend Analysis: Identify and develop new opportunities within the sector.
Team Leadership: Build and manage a high-performing sales and marketing team.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
