SmartPro are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our client based on the outskirts of Swansea. The ideal candidate will have experience using a variety of CNC Machines including Mazak Twin Spindle Lathes. The role includes loading, running and measuring all components that are being machined to a precise size and surface finish requirement as per the drawing(s).

Shift Pattern: 39 hours per week. Mornings, Afternoons and Nights. The successful candidate will need to be flexible and be willing to work overtime.

Duties
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, grinding, and assembling
- Read and interpret technical drawings and Machining Instruction Sheet.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications
- Maintain and troubleshoot CNC machinery as needed
- Utilise SolidWorks, CAD software, and power tools for machining processes

Experience
• Previous CNC Machining experience

• Capable of reading engineering diagrams and working to tight tolerances

• Setting and operating CNC Mazak Lathes with Mazatrol control systems

• Experience operating CNC Cylindrical Grinders and EDM Wires (training can be provided)

• Capable of producing a range of high-quality components

• Good IT and communication skills.

• Ability to problem solve.
