Job Title: Machine Minder
Location: Thetford
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: £12 per hour
Job Overview: We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Machine Minder to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operation of various machines, ensuring they run efficiently and safely. This role is crucial in maintaining the production process, and you will play a key part in ensuring that our products meet high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and operate machines, ensuring they function correctly throughout the production process.
Perform routine checks and maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
Identify and troubleshoot any issues that arise with machinery, minimizing downtime.
Ensure that all safety protocols are followed and that the work area is kept clean and organized.
Record and report any defects or malfunctions to the maintenance team.
Assist in the setup and calibration of machines as needed.
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines. Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Machine Minder or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to perform minor repairs on machinery.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Flexibility and willingness to learn new skills. Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Ability to lift and move materials as required by the job. Benefits:
