As the Quality and Inspection Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success and expansion of a well-established, profitable, engineering company. You will support a dynamic team, ensuring efficient workflows, timely delivery of products, and the highest standards of quality.

Key Duties as a Quality and Inspection Team Leader

Organising the day-to-day running of the Inspection and Quality department and its team
Scheduling work, including overtime to efficiently meet production demands
Maximising the capabilities of both the equipment and team
Monitoring team performance and quality of work
Conducting regular performance reviews with the team and carrying out appraisals
Developing the team through face to face training, coaching and mentoring
Performing first off, roving and final inspection of components and assemblies and associated tasks
Maintenance of QA systems and processes
Leading and contributing to technical discussions with peers
Your experience as the Quality and Inspection Team Leader will include

Strong experience in quality control and assurance processes within a manufacturing / engineering environment
Proficiency in various inspection techniques for machined components
Experience identifying inefficiencies and implementing process improvements to enhance productivity and quality
Previous management experience would be advantageous
