Are you an Assistant Quantity Surveyor looking for your next role?
The company you will be working for is an established Main contractor with years of experience providing specialist design, M&E and refrigeration services, saving time and money by streamlining all aspects of the project with a specialist, innovative, problem solving capability.
As Assistant Quantity Surveyor you will be office based in Burton on Trent with support from a Senior QS / Commercial Manager.
Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting accurate cost estimates, budget management, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide accurate and timely cost advice.
Analyzing contracts, identifying risks, and proposing mitigation strategies.
Preparing detailed bills of quantities and tender documents.
Evaluating subcontractor and supplier bids and negotiating favorable terms.
Monitoring project progress and variations, ensuring alignment with budgetary and contractual requirements.
Contributing to the continuous improvement of our cost management processes.
