Job Title: Band 8a – Senior Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT)

Job Description:

The Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) team and At Risk Mental States (ARMS) service in Thurrock, Essex, are seeking an experienced and qualified Band 8a Senior CBT practitioner for a temporary 12-week placement. The role involves providing specialist therapeutic interventions for individuals experiencing psychosis or who are at high risk of developing psychosis.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to individuals diagnosed with psychosis, bipolar disorder, or those at risk of mental health challenges.

* Provide assessments, treatment, and support as part of the Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) and At Risk Mental States (ARMS) service.

* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care and support for service users.

* Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to best practice guidelines in mental health care.

Requirements:

* Qualified Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical or Counselling Psychologist) or Cognitive Behavioural Therapist.

* Demonstrated experience in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Psychosis and Bipolar Disorder.

* Strong communication and team collaboration skills.

* Ability to work independently and manage a full caseload
