Job Title: Commercial Deep Clean Operative
Location: Southend, Rochford Canvey Island and surrounding areas
Salary: £23,000 - £24,000
Shift Patterns: Monday to Friday or Sunday to Thursday
Shift Hours: 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute unpaid break
Night Shift: From 6pm onwards (most start at 10pm)
Day Shift: From 6am onwards (shift times may vary)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Cleaning Compliance Operative to join our team. This role involves cleaning HVAC equipment and deep cleaning kitchen equipment and surfaces to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in either kitchen cleaning or ventilation cleaning.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and maintain HVAC equipment to ensure operational efficiency and cleanliness.
Perform deep cleaning of kitchen equipment, surfaces, and areas to meet industry standards.
Ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness protocols during all cleaning tasks.
Maintain cleanliness of all assigned areas, including regular inspections.
Adhere to all company health and safety policies and procedures.
Work flexible hours, including late-night shifts as required by clients.
Required Experience and Skills:
Previous experience in kitchen cleaning or ventilation cleaning is essential.
Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
Good communication and time management skills.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning and hygiene.
