We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join a welcoming and well-established SEN secondary school in Tamworth. This exciting temp-to-perm role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students with diverse learning needs.The role is to start from January 2025 on a full time basis with full teacher responsiblities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teaching a class of 20 students
* Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons tailored to meet the needs of students with SEN.
* Support pupils with a variety of additional needs, including autism, moderate learning difficulties (MLD), and complex requirements.
* Work collaboratively with support staff and other professionals to create a nurturing and positive learning environment.
* Monitor and evaluate pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies as necessary.
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
* Experience working with students with additional needs, preferably in an SEN setting.
* Strong communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
* A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to teaching.

Requirements
To be considered for the SEN Teacher position you will:
· Previous experience in a primary school setting or SEN school
· Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team
· Hold the Right to Work in the UK
· Have a QTS
· Have a DBS Certificate on the Update Service / Willing to obtain one
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is previous experience working in a primary school setting
