JOB TITLE: Receptionist (SEND Hub)
LOCATION: Earlsfield, Wandsworth, SW17 0LA
PAY RATE: £13.85 PAYE per hour
START DATE: ASAP
DURATION/Hours: 3-month initial contract/ 27.5 hours a week (9am - 3pm)
IR35 STATUS: Inside

Role Purpose:

Our Local Authority Client is looking for a Receptionist for their SEND Hub. The hub is a busy building where sessions take place for Children with Special Educational Needs.

Main duties:

Meeting and greeting all visitors and ensure they sign in and out
Manage the centres room booking system.
Report all building repairs and maintenance item to the facilities team
Conduct mandatory fire alarm test, emergency light testing and fire extinguisher checks.
Distribute all incoming post.
Ensure that reception area is tidy, and all notice boards are up to date.
Open the building and unlock the doors.
Conduct relevant building checks on daily / weekly basis.
Action Health & Safety related items.

Knowledge, skills & experience:

Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office
Understanding importance of confidentiality and safeguarding children
Able to deal with competing demands through planning and prioritization
