I am working alongside a leading civil engineering contractor who operate heavily within the Northwest of England, Wales and Scotland. They are looking to onboard a site engineer due to an increase in their order book across projects in the Lancashire and Cumbria regions.

Site engineer responsibilities:

* Setting out and surveying using Leica GPS and total station.

* Producing and recording As-built surveys.

* Volume calculations.

* Machine control.

* Record keeping.

* RFI's.

* Reading and understanding drawings.

* Liaising with the client and main contractor.

* Health and safety compliance.

* Working alongside and reporting to the project management team.

Site engineer responsibilities:

* Right to work in the UK.

* Degree or diploma in civil engineering.

* CSCS Card.

* Proficient with excel, word, office.

* Proficient with AutoCAD, LSS, Civil 3D software.

* Proficient with Leica GPS and total station surveying equipment.

* Previous experience with bulk earthworks.

* Full UK driving licence.
