Job Advert: Pharmacy Stores Assistant – NHS Hospital (Essex)
Hourly Rate: £14 - £15 per hour
Location: NHS Hospital, Essex
Contract: Temporary via Hunter AHP

Hunter AHP are currently seeking a Pharmacy Stores Assistant to join a reputable NHS Hospital in Essex.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the receipt, storage, and distribution of pharmaceutical stock within the hospital.
Ensure accurate and efficient stock management, including rotation and stocktaking.
Work closely with the pharmacy team to maintain adequate stock levels and prevent shortages.
Prepare and deliver pharmaceutical products to designated areas of the hospital.
Assist with ordering and inventory management, ensuring stock is well-organised and accessible.
Maintain health and safety standards, ensuring all products are stored in compliance with regulations.
Provide administrative support, including updating records and databases as needed.

Skills & Experience:

Previous experience in a pharmacy stores or stock-related role is desirable.
Strong organisational skills with an ability to manage inventory effectively.
Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
Knowledge of basic health and safety procedures in a healthcare setting is an advantage.
A willingness to learn and support the pharmacy team.
